Our services also include insurance coverage and convenient pick-up and drop-off locations at Shannon Airport, Ennis Bus & Train Station, and local accommodation.

Founded by Pat Fitzpatrick in the 1970s, Banner Cars was originally a successful car sales and servicing business, providing and caring for thousands of cars in the area over the years.

In the early 1990s Pat introduced a car-hire service that quickly grew in popularity and reputation, with wife Catherine and daughter Gráinne deeply involved with the business. After Pat sadly passed away in 2022, his son Brian succeeded him at the helm.

Brian is a former teacher who returned to Ireland from Taiwan recently. Like his father before him, Brian maintains strong connections to the Éire Óg GAA Club in Ennis, and with Clare GAA.
